Resident Bird-B-Gone Ornithologist Gives Radio Interview – Listen

Friday, August 27th, 2010

In June, Bird-B-Gone added Ornithologist Dr. Rob Fergus to their team of bird control specialists to help “close the gap between the science of nature and the nature of bird control“.

Since then, Dr. Rob has answered countless email questions from customers looking to solve pest bird problems.

Recently, Dr. Rob was interviewed on a radio show called “Home Grown”. Based out of Louisville Kentucky, the show focuses on all aspects of backyard gardening and is hosted by Louisville columnist Bob Hill and garden writer and enthusiast Jeneen Wiche.

Blogger Reviews Bird-B-Gone Spikes!

Monday, January 4th, 2010

We really enjoy getting feedback from our customers! At Bird-B-Gone we are dedicated to helping solve pest bird problems; we pride ourselves on supplying customers with effective bird deterrents that really do work!

Recently we came across this blog entry from Garden Blog Reviews, detailing one customers experience with installing bird spikes.

Amazing! I have been trying for years to get these pigeons off my roof. I have spent a small fortune in fake owls, snakes, and electronic devices. These actually worked! The only spike that worked! We had pigeons roosting in the eaves of our home. After using the Bird-B-Gone Spike (which was incredibly easy to install!), the birds went away, and so did all their droppings. Our church also used the product on the edges of the Sunday School building with excellent results! Our neighbors had tried spikes from another company, but the birds were able to land between them….don’t be fooled by imitations!

“Companies Partner to Support Wounded American War Veterans”

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

From PCTonline.com:

woundedvetsCRANFORD, N.J. – Chris Donaghy of Residex and Bruce Donoho of Bird-B-Gone have partnered to donate a handcrank competitive cycle to the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans.

“Bruce and I would like to express our gratitude to the servicemen and women of the US military by giving back to those who sacrificed so much to keep the world free from tyranny,” said Donaghy.

The Achilles Freedom Team was founded in 2004 to introduce marathon racing to wounded war veterans as part of their rehabilitation.

This is the second handcrank donated by Residex in 2009 since partnering with the charity.  Both competitive cycles are stationed at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.  Upon arrival at the hospital, wounded servicemen and women are encouraged by Achilles Freedom Team members to integrate the use of the cycles as part of their rehabilitation.  Despite their disabilities, many remarkable wounded veterans go on to incorporate competitive marathon racing into their lives.

Residex expects to surpass their 2009 goal of raising $10,000 for this inspirational charity.  To help support our wounded American war veterans visit www.firstgiving.com/residex.
